Shōsen refers to a technique that uses the palm of the hand to channel physical and spiritual energy, often to heal illnesses or injuries. The practice of Shōsen first emerged in the early years of the 20th century.
The Topfighter Dogi “Shōsen” is a middleweight uniform suitable for various disciplines and skill levels. It is durable enough for advanced and intensive jiu-jitsu training, yet equally suitable for those practicing karate recreationally.
Crafted from finely woven 10oz cotton at 280 GSM (grams per square meter), the Topfighter Dogi “Shōsen” features sleeves and pant legs reinforced with ten rows of stitching. The bottom hem of the jacket is also stitched ten times, giving the uniform an exceptional high-quality finish.
The trousers feature a 4 cm elastic waistband with an additional inner drawstring, allowing for an adjustable and secure fit.
This dogi (karate or judo uniform) follows a traditional cut, meaning the sleeves and pant legs reach the wrists and ankles. The jacket length is designed to remain neatly in place, even during intense training sessions.
The Topfighter Dogi “Shōsen” comes complete with a sturdy white belt (obi).
