The Topfighter Headgear PRO MX1 AIR is the second model within our Pro MX Collection and part of the Pro Line range, engineered for fighters who prioritize maximum mobility without compromising on protection. This model builds directly on the proven protection platform of the PRO MX1, while introducing a more open and dynamic fit around the chin area.
Manufactured in India by one of the world’s leading combat sports manufacturers, the Topfighter Headgear PRO MX1 AIR is constructed from premium PU Flex, ensuring durability, a refined finish, and reliable performance during intensive use. The internal memory foam lining adapts to the contours of the head, delivering excellent shock absorption and a secure, comfortable fit throughout training.
In contrast to the standard PRO MX1, the PRO MX1 AIR features a chin-free design. The traditional chin protector has been removed and replaced with an adjustable Velcro strap closure, allowing the headgear to be firmly secured while significantly increasing freedom of movement. This open configuration reduces obstruction when keeping the chin tucked or during dynamic head movement, making it particularly suitable for high-tempo sparring and technical training.
Despite the open chin design, protection remains uncompromised. The jaw protection is identical to the PRO MX1, and all other protective zones—including the forehead, upper front section of the head, and rear padding—remain unchanged. Additional padding at the back of the head enhances impact absorption while contributing to a compact and stable fit.
The Topfighter Headgear PRO MX1 AIR features a lace-up closure on the top for precise adjustment at the crown, combined with a dual Velcro closure at the back for fast fitting and reliable stability.

Headguard Care Checklist
